The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia extended a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia on the occasion of the Day of Courage and Unity.
The note, in particular, reads:
“The day of November 23, 1989, being the vivid example of courage and steadfastness of spirit, became the symbol of the national unity. That date marked the beginning of the heroic struggle of the people of South Ossetia for freedom and independence of the Motherland.
Today, South Ossetia is developing dynamically and preserves carefully its history, unique cultur and traditions.”
