On April 3, a meeting of the delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia at the GID with ICRC Operations Coordinator for Europe and Central Asia Angelique Appeyroux and ICRC Head of the Protection Department for Europe and Central Asia Fabien Bourdier was held at the headquarters of the Committee in Geneva.
Issues related to the activities of the ICRC in the Republic of South Ossetia were discussed during the meeting. Work in framework of the Trilateral Committee on the search of missing persons was one of the agenda items of the discussion.
Range of other issues related to the work of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of South Ossetia was discussed during the meeting as well.
