On February 10, Alan Gagloev, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, visited the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in the Russian Federation where expressed condolences to the people of Syria on the occasion of the destructive earthquake and its consequences and laid flowers at the wall of the Embassy.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Feredation Znaur Gassiev accompanied the President.
During the meeting with Bashar Jaafari, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation, Alan Gagloev noted that the South Ossetian people deeply mourn along with the friendly Syrian nation and express sincere sympathies to families and loved ones of the victims.
