Murat Dzhioev, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement, heading South Ossetian mission, hosted a meeting with the Co-Chairmen of the Geneva International Discussions who arrived to Tskhinval on September, 08.
The agenda of the two working groups for the coming 33rd round of the discussions, planned for October 6-7, 2015, was talked over.
South Ossetia party called for paying special attention to security situation about South Ossetia-Georgian border in the sign of recent provocative actions made by Georgian authorities who intentionally increase tensions in frontier zones.
Consequently the importance of conducting regular work within IPRM, in general, and “the hot line”, in particular, promoting immediate solution of incidents about the border, was emphasized.
Concern was expressed about opening of the Georgia-NATO Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC) at Krtsanisi that is considered to be a serious step threatening security in the region.
Once again the importance of developing a legally binding document that would guarantee non-use of force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the main task of the Geneva discussions actually, was stated.
A number of humanitarian issues were discussed as well.
Upon the consultation the Co-chairmen met with relatives of missing citizens of South Ossetia.
Later the new premises of the National Museum were visited and a tour to Dzau region was organized.
