David Sanakoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Jan Mishkots, the Chief Representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of South Ossetia, on February, 26 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The full range of expected activity of the mission for this year was discussed. As Mr. Mishkots reported, the work of the ICRC on questions of missing people, reunification of families and access to hospital emergency would proceed in 2015. Besides, the mission is in charge of solving water supply problems in rural districts and providing regular help to the most socially disadvantaged families and persons.
In his turn, Mr. Sanakoev appreciated in value the fruitful activity the ICRC is carrying in South Ossetia and emphasized the importance of cooperation with this international organization.
The participants of the meeting expressed readiness for open dialogue and further coordinated work.
