Announcement of the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of South Ossetia

On 4-6 May capital of Republic of South Ossetia Tskhinval is going to be visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Republic of South Ossetia Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba.

Official Presentation of Credentials by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba to President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and copies of the Credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev is going to take place on 5th May.

Presentation of Credentials in another important step for establishment and further strengthening of interstate relations between Republic of South Ossetia and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Mr. Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba replaced Ambassador Hugo Jose Garcia Hernandez.

Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba

Was born in 1958 in Caracas, Venezuela, he speaks Spanish, French and English. Married, has two sons.
In 1980 graduated from Military Academy of Venezuela in the rank of a second lieutenant specialized in Military art and science, ground forces, management. In 1993 he gets a title of a system engineer from University polytechnic school of National armed forces (IUPFAN). In 1996 gets diploma for material and technical support for General Staff at Higher school of Army after Liberator Simon Bolivar.

In 2001 gets Masters degree in security and defense science at the Institute of National Defense Research Grand Mariscal de Ayacucho. In 2002 receives Masters degree in military art and science at the Higher School after Liberator Simon Bolivar. In 2004 is trained on 100th leading management programme for engineers at the Institute of Administrative science. In 2013 is trained at the Institute of higher diplomatic science after Pedro Gual.
It should be noted that Ambassador Paredes Torrealba was in different offices at the National military forces and state management, among which can be highlighted the following: platoon commander, squadron commander, battalion commander, deputy director of informational department of Bolivar army, health director of Bolivar National Military Forces, Commander of the first division of infantry and military garrison Maracaibo, Deputy commander and head of General Staff of Bolivar Army, Head of strategic region of the main complex defense, Commander of Bolivar Army, Officer for personnel, material and technical support, Bolivar Army Reporter in Vargas state, Director General of autonomous service of ground transportation (SETRA), Presidential Envoy on integration and border issues (COPIAF), President of National Institute of ground transportation (INTTT), advisor to Chairman of the National Assembly.
