On 23 February the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev and employees of the Ministry took part in a solemn ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the Memorial to the Defenders of South Ossetia and at the chapel of the Memorial Cemetery in the yard of secondary school No. 5, timed to the Day of Defender of the Fatherland and the 32nd anniversary of the Ministry of Defence of South Ossetia.
