The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia extended a congratulatory letter to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Nauru on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Nauru.

The EU Council has finally approved the decision on the non-recognition of Russian passports issued in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The decision of the European Parliament to ban the issuance of visas to citizens of the Russian Federation who have received passports in the territories of the new Russian regions, as well as in the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia is regarded as another unfriendly attack by the countries of the European Union, a gross violation of the fundamental principles of European democracy and, in fact, is blatant discrimination against Russian citizens living in these territories.
