The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.
The message, in particular, states:
"The Constitution of the Russian Federation united the people of Russia, regardless of nationality, religion and beliefs, into a single civil community, embodying centuries-old aspirations for peace, creation and development.

Strengthening Cooperation
Speaking at the 32nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, M. Botchorishvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, did not fail to voice a set of templates about “occupation”, so-called territorial integrity of Georgia and other reality challenged statements.

Prime Minister of Georgia I. Kobakhidze reacted rather emotionally on the position of Moscow, outlined in the comment of the Russian MFA to Izvestia newspaper, regards the resumption of political dialogue between Russia and Georgia and the irrevocability of the decision to recognize the statehood of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, which, in Kobakhidze’s opinion is a red line for Georgia.
On November 30, elections of deputies of the Supreme Council of the VIII convocation, people’s deputies of local Councils and Chairmen of Councils – heads of administrations of villages and towns were held in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Central Electoral Committee of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic recognized that the elections have taken place.
On November 28, the Club of Young Diplomats was opened in Albion Gymnasium named after K.L. Khetagurov. Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.G. Sanakoev and Consultant of the Directorate of Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia E.P. Valieva attended the opening ceremony.

On November 23, South Ossetia celebrates the Day of Courage and National Unity, which was officially established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia dated November 23, 2010 in memory of the events of 1989, when several dozens of unarmed young residents of the republic blocked with a human shield the entrance to Tskhinval to a crowd of thousands of Georgian nationalists who tried to enter the city under the guise of “peaceful demonstration”.

Dzhioev attended the presentation of the book “The History of the Ossetian Genocide of 1920” by Konstantin Petrovich Pukhaev, a prominent politician and scientist, Candidate of Historical Sciences, which was held at the Z. N. Vaneev South Ossetian Scientific Research Institute and was timed to the Day of Courage and National Unity.
