The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
The message states, in particular:
“The date of September 9, 2008, marked the beginning of a fundamentally new stage in bilateral relations, filled with the spirit of alliance and mutual trust. The establishment of diplomatic relations between South Ossetia and Russia has elevated the interaction between our states to the level of genuine strategic partnership, laying the foundation for comprehensive deepening of integration and multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
Distinguished Sergey Viktorovich, in South Ossetia, we value the high level of trust-based political dialogue achieved between our countries and are personally grateful to you and the Russian Foreign Ministry for your active support on important issues of the international agenda.”
On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Ossetia and Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia also sent a congratulatory message to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia.
