Today, on 20 of September 2011 in the Republic of South Ossetia are under way festive events dedicated to the 21 anniversary of creation of the Republic of South Ossetia. For the fourth time the people of South Ossetia celebrates this significant date of their history as a recognized state.
To the Republic Day celebration in Tskhinval was dated a first Russian-Ossetian business forum called “Building of modern state through the effective economy”. Within the framework of forum were signed five bilateral documents: Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Government of Russian Federation of cooperation in the realm of communication, information technologies and mass communication, Memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of social and economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Ministry of regional development of Russian federation, Memorandum on mutual understanding in the realm of rural economy between the Ministry of economy development of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Agriculture Ministry of Russian Federation, Program of common actions in the sphere of tourism for 2012 between the Ministry of economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia and Federal agency of tourism of the Ministry of Sport, tourism of Youth policy of Russian Federation and Plan of interaction between Commercial and Industrial Chamber of the Republic of South Ossetia and Commercial and Industrial Chamber of Russian Federation for the period from 2011 to 2012.
In the course of the business forum the head of Russian delegation who is also a Head of President’s administration S. E. Naryshkin handed over on behalf of the President of Russian Federation D. A. Medvedev state awards of Russian Federation to citizens of South Ossetia for large contribution to the development of Russo-Southossetian relations.
