On August 26, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev participated in ceremony of laying flowers to 1992-1993 Abkhaz Patriotic War Memorial raised in the Park of Glory in Sukhum.
The ceremony, timed to the 16th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation, was also attended by Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia Zaza Driaev and Arsen Kvezerov, Chairman of the Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia for economy, small business and agriculture.
