On June 28 one of the most significant Islamic holidays is celebrated by Muslims all over the world - Eid al-Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev addressed congratulatory messages to Faisal al-Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, and, extending wishes of peace, kindness and well-being.
The reply letter of thanks by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation Bashar al-Jaafari reads, in particular:
“With great joy we have received your congratulations on the blessed holiday of Eid al-Adha.
We are availing ourselves of this pleasant opportunity to wish you, your beloved ones and your colleagues longevity, health and success in all initiatives.
We pray to God that our fraternal peoples meet this year in peace, kindness, justice and development”.
