On the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Ossetian Genocide, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the ceremony of laying flowers to the Memorial Monument to 13 Communards shot by the Georgian Mensheviks on the Zguder Hill on June 20, 1920.
A nationwide minute of silence was held at 1:00 p.m. and memorial services for the victims of the genocide of the Ossetian people were held in churches of Tskhinval.
