On June 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev attended the opening of a personal exhibition of paintings by the eminent Ossetian artist, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Russian Federation Pavel Khasiev, which took place in the museum complex of the South Ossetian State University (UOGU) named after A.A. Tibilov.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Republic's leadership, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, as well as guests from Samara – ex-Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostislav Khugaev and Rector of Samara State Technical University Dmitry Bykov.
By the decree of the President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, Pavel Khasiev was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of the Republic of South Ossetia" for his great personal achievements in the field of fine arts and many years of fruitful work.
