On May 17, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev participated in the ceremony of laying flowers to the 1992-1993 Abkhaz Patriotic War Memorial raised in the Park of Glory in Sukhum.
Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, representatives of the leadership of Abkhazia and official delegates from friendly states, who arrived to participate in the festivities, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, participated in the ceremony.
Apart from that the South Ossetian delegation visited the memorial to Vladislav Ardzinba, the first President of the Republic of Abkhazia, raised in Lower Eshera village.
