A meeting of the South Ossetian and the Abkhaz Foreign Ministers Akhsar Dzhioev and Inal Ardzinba was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia on May 16.
O. I. Botsiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Republic of Abkhazia, A. G. Sanakoev, Head of Department for Cooperation with Foreign Missions of the South Ossetian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, D. V. Bganba, Head of Department for Strategic Cooperation of the Abkhaz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the meeting.
The parties discussed current state and the prospects of further development of the traditionally friendly South Ossetian-Abkhaz relations.
At the end of the meeting Akhsar Dzhioev and Inal Ardzinba exchanged memorable gifts.
