The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia strongly condemns the terrorist attacks committed yesterday on several state institutions in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic which caused destructions.
Similar criminal activities are aimed at intimidating civilian population and creating a pretext for increasing tensions, with the purpose of undermining the security of the people of Pridnestrovie and general stability in the region.
This provocation is undoubtedly produced by external forces and is aimed at destabilizing the situation and creation of another trouble spot in Europe.
We believe that criminal actions require adequate principled reaction by the international community. It is important to place a reliable shield against the attempts to jeopardize the situation.
The Republic of South Ossetia expresses its solidarity with the Government and the people of Pridnestrivie and wishes steadfastness and peace to the fraternal republic.
