Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D.N. Medoev sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh D.K. Babayan on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Artsakh.
The congratulation, in particular, says:
Three decades ago, the brave people of Artsakh firmly and confidently announced to the whole world about the revival of the independent Armenian statehood. On that day, the people of Artsakh entered a new historical period, equal in scale to centuries. Showing an indestructible patriotic spirit in every step, decision and action, the Artsakh people courageously defended their land, their national idea, and the peaceful future of their children.
The tragic events of the past year fully revealed the potential threats to the region as a whole. Despite all the difficulties, the republic continues its stubborn struggle in all areas of state building, successfully and dynamically strengthens the vital vectors of the country’s development, preserves and enhances the historical and cultural heritage.
Dear David Klimovich, for many years our countries have been linked by traditional friendly relations, multilateral cooperation, mutual trust and support. South Ossetia is firmly convinced that the heroic people of Artsakh, unconquered and unbroken in spirit, will survive the hardships that fallen to their lot and will find a worthy future.
I am convinced that the unique national spirit, devotion to their roots and loyalty to the chosen path will allow the people of Artsakh to achieve the highest achievements in state building, in the struggle for the right to vote in the international arena, for justice and freedom in the name of peace and prosperity in your ancient land.
