Murat Dzhioev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Egor Kochiev, Head of Diplomatic Mission of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia, on February 2, 2017.
Development of relations between the two Republics became subject of discussion. As an important step in further strengthening interstate ties the parties mentioned the fact that the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic ratified the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, signed in Tskhinval last year. In short time the Treaty will be presented for ratification in the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Later the parties discussed a range of issues of mutual interest.
