August, 11 saw consultations on consular problems held between foreign-policy departments of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
Alina Dzhagaeva, Chief of Consular Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, and Andrey Frolov, Deputy Head of Consular Department of Russian Foreign Ministry, headed South Ossetian and Russian delegations correspondingly.
Special attention was paid to the recent changes made in legal framework of bilateral relations between the states as the signed Treaty on Alliance and Integration entered into force on July, 30, 2015.
The parties agreed on the necessity of developing and concluding a bilateral consular convention and proceeding cooperation in sphere of consular issues on a regular basis.
The consultations turned out to be constructive and were held in friendly atmosphere.
