President Tibilov hosted a Nauruan delegation headed by David Adeang, the Vice President the Republic, on April, 22. The Vice-speaker of the Parliament Akua Renin, the Deputy Minister of Finance Hunt Martin and MP Buramen Cyril were members of the delegation. Konstantin Kochiev, State Councilor of the President, Kazbulat Tskhovrebov, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Igor Kochiev, the Parliamental Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliament Communications Chairman, participated in the meeting on South Ossetian side.
The parties estimated the existing level of interstate relations as satisfying and noted the possibility of strengthening and developing bilateral relations in specific spheres, including negotiations on different treaties in general and on an agreement on mutual visa-free travels in particular. Appointing Consuls and organizing not only government delegations exchanges but also creative and sport teams tours was proposed. Leonid Tibilov asked to deliver to the President of the Republic of Nauru the invitation to visit South Ossetia and participate in special events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of formation of the Republic on September 20, 2015.
The meeting was conducted in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
