On 8 of September Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Abkhazia O. I. Botsiev arrived to Tskhinval for consultations.
Ambassador met with the President of the Republic of South Ossetia L. H. Tibilov. The meeting was also participated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D. G. Sanakoev.
During the meeting sides thoroughly discussed a wide specter of issues of mutual interaction. O. I. Botsiev informed about the results of extraordinary Presidential elections in Abkhazia eventuated on 24 of August and current situation in the state.
L. H. Tibilov congratulated Abkhazian people with election of new President and expressed his confidence about the continuation of friendly and good-neighborly relations between our states and also pointed the necessity of constructing of close contacts with new authorities of Abkhazia.
