On 2 of September the delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia headed by the Foreign Minister D. G. Sanakoev took part in the celebrations in Tiraspol dedicated to the 24th anniversary of Transdnistrian Moldovan Republic establishment.
Within the frameworks of festive events eventuated the meeting of Southossetian delegation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transdnistrian Moldovan Republic N. V. Shtanski. During the meeting were discussed the issues of priority directions of cooperation and particularly, on the line of foreign agencies. Transdnistrian side transferred to the delegation of South Ossetia draft warding of renewed Agreement of friendship and cooperation for the following revision and coordination. Decision of necessity of renewing of existing agreement had been taken by the Presidents of South Ossetia and Transdnistria Leonid Tibilov and Evgeny Shevchuk earlier. The parties also discussed the perspectives of conducting in 2015 quadripartite meeting of Foreign Ministers of South Ossetia, Transdnistria, Abkhazia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
Delegation of South Ossetia was also received by the President of Transdnistrian Moldovan Republic E. V. Shevchuk shoed gratitude to the authorities of South Ossetia for the attention to Transdnistria. In his turn David Sanakoev highlighted the necessity of intensification of bilateral relations in connection with urgent events around Transdnistria. He said that in South Ossetia with great concern following the situation and ready to do everything possible to minimize its negative aftereffects.
