Consultations between the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of South Ossetia D.G. Sanakoev and State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation G.B. Karasin took place in Moscow on 25 April 2014.
An exchange of opinion on the main issues of the bilateral relations took place at the meeting. Were defined the main directions of further cooperation between the two countries.
The sides also discussed situation in Ukraine. The acting Minister if Foreign Affairs of Republic of South Ossetia D.G. Sanakoev expressed his solidarity with the position of Russian Federation on Ukraine.
Above that was closely studied agenda of the forthcoming round of Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia.
The outcomes of the consultations are to make an input into further development and strengthening of interdepartmental cooperation and relations between the two countries.
