On 4 August, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia between Minister of Foreign Affairs A.M. Dzhioev and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia A.V. Tekhov and representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand who were in South Ossetia on a familiarisation visit.
During the meeting, Akhsar Dzhioev spoke about the history and culture of South Ossetia and the Ossetian people. Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economic Development Albert Tekhov noted the importance of developing tourism for South Ossetia and of establishing contacts in this field.
The meeting was attended by Adviser to the Minister S.Y. Tadtaev and Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.G. Sanakoev.
