The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev has sent a congratulatory message to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Félix Ramón Plasencia González on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Venezuela.
The message reads, in part:
"Appointment to such a responsible state post reflects the trust and respect placed in you by the country's top leadership and a high assessment of your professional record. I am confident that your accumulated experience and personal professional qualities will enable you to successfully address the tasks of protecting Venezuela's foreign policy and foreign economic interests."
