The Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe are being held in Italy these days.
The project, held under the motto "Dialogues of Cultures," is organised by the international non-profit association Renaissance Sandidzan ("Revival"), headed by its chairman Radion Pukhaev.
On 3 July, the first exhibition opened at the city museum in Gradara. The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Gradara, Filippo Gasperi, and by Mauro Murja, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Italy.
The exhibition features works by well-known Ossetian artists, including Magrez Kelekhsaev, Vadim Pukhaev, Akhsar Esenov, Boris Gabaraev, Alan Bitiev, Lira Alborova and Vadim Kadzhaev. Although difficult logistics and external restrictions prevented many of the artists from attending the opening in person, their art speaks for itself, transcending any borders. The exhibition has become a genuine bridge between peoples, allowing the Italian public to engage with the distinctive and profound world of Ossetian culture.
The programme includes two key exhibitions. The next opened on 6 July at the Gabicce Mare cultural centre, located directly on a pier in the sea. This is a unique venue that regularly hosts landmark symposiums and cultural events.
