On 22 June, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia took part in a commemorative event marking the 85th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War.
The event included a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the Obelisk to those fallen during the Great Patriotic War. Those present honoured the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.
