On May 21–22, Z.K. Kochieva, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, at the invitation of A. Klimov, a member of the Bureau of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party, took part in the Second International Socio‑Political Hearings on Eurasian Security in Perm.
Within the framework of the section “Political and Legal Issues of Forming a New Architecture of Eurasian Cooperation,” Zarina Kochieva presented a report on the topic: “Political and legal issues of forming a strategic security architecture for South Ossetia after august 2008.”
The key event of the Forum was the speech by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, S.V. Lavrov. In his detailed report, he outlined the priorities of Eurasian cooperation and emphasized the need to consolidate efforts in the context of the transformation of the international security system.
The event brought together parliamentarians, diplomats, security experts, and representatives of international organizations.
