On November 18, 2011 in the Republic of South Ossetia took place a working meeting of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Plenipotentiary Representative on post-conflict settlement B. Chochiev, Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia M. Dzhioev and Authorized of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia on Human Rights D. Sanakoev with Co-chairmen of Geneva Discussions on security in Transcaucasia.
At the meeting were discussed a number of urgent questions pertaining to the preparations to a regular round of Geneva Discussions in December of 2011.
In particular, during the meeting South Ossetia’s representatives drew a special attention to the issue of security ensuring and the necessity of more active work on the non-use of force document. In this context was emphasized a necessity of work on delimitation of border between the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia. Also a question of missing persons was raised as new facts of the fortune of some Ossetian citizens missed after the war in August 2008 became known.
In the realm of humanitarian issues solving Geneva Discussions Co-chairs suggested to work over the assessment of population needs.
Besides, a problem of Leningor population supply with gas was discussed, as well as some other humanitarian issues.
