On October 19, the South Ossetian diplomats attended the event held in the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Moscow, dedicated to the canonization of Venezuelan blessed Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles Martínez.
Russian authorities, representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, diplomatic corps accredited to Moscow, parishioners of the Cathedral were among the guests.
The event is of high importance for Venezuela, since Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles Martínez became the first Venezuelans to be canonized by the Vatican.
