On 25 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev, took part in the scientific and practical conference ‘The Great Patriotic War of the Soviet People: Philosophical and Methodological Aspect’, which was held at the South Ossetian State University named after A.A. Tibilov.
The event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory was attended by Leonid Tibilov, former President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Igor Terziyan, Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in South Ossetia, Sergey Komissarov, Head of the Russian House in Tskhinval and representatives of scientific and cultural intelligentsia of the Republic.
Akhsar Dzhioev read out the welcome address on behalf of the President of South Ossetia A.E. Gagloev.
Rector of South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Republic for supporting the initiatives of the university, as well as to the participants of the conference for the prepared materials.
The conference included reports on various philosophical and cultural aspects of the war.
