Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev extended a congratulatory letter to Vice President of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal al-Mekdad on the occasion of his appointment to the post of the Vice President of the Syrian Arab Republic.
From 2020 to the present Faisal al-Mekdad has been Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.
The letter, in particular, reads:
“The appointment to such a high public post is a fair result of many years of impeccable service to your state and people and an indicator of the well-deserved trust and respect of the leadership and the people of the Syrian Arab Republic.
I am confident that your professionalism, commitment and devotion will ensure effective and fruitful work in new responsible areas, including in strengthening and extending the traditionally friendly ties between South Ossetia and Syria.”
