On September 5, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev hosted a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev.
Head of the Foreign Ministry reported on the results of the visit of the South Ossetian delegation to the Republic of Abkhazia, timed to the celebrations on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the recognition of the independence by the Russian Federation, in framework of which the “Plan of consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia for 2024-2025” was signed.
During the meeting, issues related to the activities of the Foreign Ministry, including foreign agencies of the Ministry, were also discussed.
The President gave a number of instructions related to intensifying work on the foreign policy agenda. Special attention was paid to upgrading relations with the Russian Federation through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
