On December 13, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev participated in the ceremony of awarding the Bulæmærg (“Nightingale”) Literary Award in Moscow.
Akhsar Dzhioev addressed the participants and guests of the ceremony with a welcoming note from the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev.
Bulæmærg Award, aimed at promotion of the Ossetian language was established in 2016 by the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation. In 2020 the Council of the Award introduced a nomination for those authors, who write in Russian.
Representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Russia, public and political figures were among the guests of the event.
A delegation from the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, headed by Chairman of the Parliament Alan Alborov, Minister of Education Aslan Lolaev and other representatives of the Republic visited the ceremony of awarding.
