The South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev sent a congratulatory letter to Foreign Minister of Venezuela Yvan Gil Pinto on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The letter, in particular, reads:
“The entire path of building statehood of Venezuela reflects the history of a courageous struggle of heroic Bolivarian nation for its right to freedom and independence. In different periods of history, despite all trials and challenges, the people of Venezuela bravely marched towards victory over the injustice, leaded by such outstanding national heroes as Simon Bolivar, Francisco de Miranda, Hugo Chavez. Today, thanks to their invaluable contribution to preserving and defending the state sovereignty, Venezuela is decisively and consistently protecting its national interests.
Mr. Minister, while marking with gratitude the permanent support to international positions of the Republic of South Ossetia rendered by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, I am expressing confidence in further development of friendly ties and deepening of the bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our nations and peoples.”
A congratulatory letter from Akhsar Dzhioev was also sent to Jesús Rafael Salazar Velásquez, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of South Ossetia.
