On May 17, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev participated in Global Abkhazia Forum, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Aslan Bzhania, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Sergey Shamba, Secretary of the Security Council, Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Denis Ronaldo Moncada Colindres, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua, Jesús Rafael Salazar Velásquez, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela concurrent to the Russian Federation and to the Republic of South Ossetia, Roman Gromov, founder of Aibion Technologies, and Maria Zakharova, Director of the Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, (online format) took part in the work of the Forum.
Issues related to integration processes, security of Abkhazia and Akhazia’s participation in the GID were discussed at the Forum.
Akhsar Dzhioev thanked Inal Ardzinba for the invitation to participate in the festivities, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, and in Global Abkhazia Forum and noted the useful format of the meeting.
Withing the framework of the events the South Ossetian Minister visited the Abkhaz State University, where met with rector Aleko Gvaramia and took part in an open lecture for students of the University.
