Akhsar Dzhioev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, sent a congratulatory letter to Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of his birthday.
The letter, in particular, reads:

Your wisdom, restraint and principality in issues related to defense of the interests of Russia and its allies contribute to a coordinated work of the entire system of foreign policy system of the country – a reliable team of professionals who interact faultlessly at all levels and solve consistently and effectively the challenging issues of the international agenda put to them.
Honorable Sergey Viktorovich, the people of South Ossetia respect you very much and feel grateful for your personal contribution to the process of recognition of our young state and the support to our interests at international arena.
I am convinced that the traditionally friendly high level of interaction between our states would further promote extension of the bilateral cooperation in the spirit of alliance and integration for the benefit of our nations”.
