On February 10, Akhsar Dzhioev, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister, participated via videoconference in the reporting board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, timed to the Diplomat’s Day.
Vadim Krasnoselsky, President of the Pridnestovian Moldavian Republic, Sergey Ghazaryan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Oleg Vasnetsov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova, Vitaliy Yankovskiy, Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Alan Pliev, Head of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia, Alexander Vataman, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, and other invitees participated in the meeting.
The Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev reported about the main directions of foreign policy activities in 2022 considering the new realities and challenges the Republic has been facing, and set further objectives for the Ministry.
On behalf of the South Ossetian diplomats Akhsar Dzhioev congratulated the Pridnestrovian colleagues on professional holiday and wished them strong health, peace and success in defending the foreign policy positions and in serving for the benefit of the Motherland.
The South Ossetian Foreign Minister marked the development of relations with the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, with which long-lasting ties of friendship and partnership strengthened by a significant contractual basis had been established, as one of the unchanging foreign policy priorities for the Republic of South Ossetia and expressed hope for further strengthening the cooperation.
