Pertaining to the appointment of the Head of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia
Under the Decree of Vadim Krasnoselskii, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, dated November 8, 2018 and issued in accordance with the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership signed between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on September 20, 2016 in order to promote further interaction between the two states Alan Pliev was appointed as Head of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia.

Alan Soltanovich Pliev was born on September 21, 1972 in Tskhinval.

South Ossetian State University, Faculty of History.
Professional experience:
1997 – Started his work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia;
2000 – Was appointed as the Deputy Foreign Minister;
By August 2008 was a member of the South Ossetian party in the Joint Control Committee (JCC) for Georgian-Ossetian Conflict Resolution;
2009 - 2012 – the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs;
May 2012 – April 2018 – Head of the Tskhinval region Administration;
Is awarded with National Aawards of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
Was conferred a diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
