A meeting of Anatolii Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, and Sergey Aksenov, the Head of the Republic of Crimea, took place in framework of the IV Yalta International Economic Forum on April 20.
Dmitrii Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, and Znaur Gassiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation, participated in the meeting.
The perspectives of cooperation between the two Republics were discussed during the meeting.
The Protocol of Intentions was signed between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea (the Russian Federation).
The Protocol provides for development of long-lasting in-depth ties in spheres of trade and economy, science and technology, as well as humanitarian ties between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea.
As it is noted in the Protocol, the Agreement on cooperation in spheres of trade and economy, science and technology as well as humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea (the Russian Federation) will be signed in future.
