Dmitrii Medoev, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister and head of the executive group, chaired another assembly of the group, organized to ensure the holding of Russian presidential elections, appointed for March 18, 2018, in the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Igor Naniev, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Chairman of Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of South Ossetia Bella Plieva, Head of Foreign Policy Directorate of Administration of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Vaneev, the Minister of Education Natali Gassieva, the Chairman of the State Committee on Information and Press Maria Kotaeva and heads of the South Ossetian regions participated in the meeting.
Marat Kulakhmetov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in South Ossetia, was invited to the assembly.
The Ambassador thanked the attendees for the assistance in holding early voting in remote villages of the Republic and asked to prepare and provide with necessary equipment the polling stations on March 18.
The forthcoming work was discussed in detail.
Head of the executive group Dmitrii Medoev expressed confidence that each citizen of South Ossetia, being a citizen of the Russian Federation as well, will responsibly discharge the civic duty and the elections will be held at a high level.
