On February 16, 2011 Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement B. E. Chochiev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia M. K. Dzhioev played host for Co-chairmen of Geneva Discussions on security in South Caucasus.
In the course of the meeting were discussed issues related to preparation and conducting of another round of Geneva discussions, appointed at 4 March 2011.
The attention of Geneva Discussions Co-chairmen was particularly focused on the issues of South Ossetia’s security as well as the problem of missings and illicitly detained by law enforcement organs of Georgia citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia. Also there were raised the questions of gas supply in Leningor district and crossing the border line with Georgia by the inhabitants of this district.
South Ossetian side emphasized its readiness for fruitful and constructive work within the frameworks of forthcoming Geneva Discussions 15 round.
