April 21 saw Murat Dzhioev, South Ossetia Foreign Minister, hosting a meeting with a delegation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, headed by Karen Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Semen Afiyan, the NKR MFA Secretary General, was also among the delegates who arrived in Tskhinval on the occasion of inauguration of Anatoliy Bibilov, the president elect of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Current issues of bilateral agenda were discussed in a confident and constructive atmosphere. The parties exchanged opinion on perspectives of scaling up cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and Nagorny Karabakh.
South Ossetia party expressed its support to attempts made by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic aimed at maintaining stability in the region.
Memorable gifts were presented to guests upon termination of the meeting.
