Working visit of the delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia consisting of Alan Kochiev, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia, and Narim Kozaev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, is going on.
The delegates participated in commemoration events dedicated to the 4th anniversary of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez’s death. Alongside with this members of the delegation met with Vladimir Zaemskiy, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Venezuela. Meetings with delegations of several states that also took part in ceremonies were organized as well.
Delcy Rodriguez, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Republic. Wide range of issues related to the bilateral cooperation in various spheres were discussed at the consultations.
