Pertaining to participation in the Third International Forum of Young Diplomats

The Third Young Diplomats Forum, organized by the Board of Young Diplomats under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with the assistance of The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, was held in Moscow on August 2-3, 2016.

Young diplomats from the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan participated in the Forum.

Konstantin Koltsov and Marina Ualyty, officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented the Republic of South Ossetia.

Over the three years of its existence the Forum turned into a full-format international platform for young foreign affairs experts, providing them with possibility to exchange opinions on range of relevant issues of foreign policy and international relations promoting strengthening mutual understanding and confidence.

Sergey Ryabkov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Grigoriy Karasin, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Leonid Slutsky, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee for the CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, Bashir Malsagov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Diplomats’ Association, Roman Grishenin, Deputy Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, and other Russian experts became speakers on the Forum’s sidelines.

A Declaration confirming readiness of the participants to create information recourse in Internet for publishing materials of the Forum and maintaining contacts between its participants was adopted at the end of the forum.
