On 17 February, 2012 the Republic of South Ossetia Minister of Foreign Affairs M.K. Dzhioev received the Head of the Official Representative of Trans-Dniester Moldova Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia A.I. Pukhaev.
In the course of the negotiations a wide range of the issues connected with the development of South-Ossetia - Trans-Dniester interrelations was discussed. Minister highly appreciated the positive dynamics and the level of collaboration between the Republic of South Ossetia and Trans-Dniester Moldova Republic based on the firm contractual - legal foundation. He thanked Alexander Pukhaev for active assistance in the widening of the relations between the two countries. They expressed confidence in further strengthening of friendly ties between the Republic of South Ossetia and Trans-Dniester Moldova Republic that corresponds to the interests of the people of the two countries.
