On 7-10 of February 2012 the Republic of South Ossetia played host for the delegation of Moscow affiliated branch of the International medical humanitarian organization “Doctors Without Boundaries”, headed by Vladimir Neiman. Purpose of the visit – study of interaction possibilities and implementation of programs in South Ossetia.
On February 9 eventuated meeting of South Ossetia’s deputy Prime Minister Domenty Kulumbegov with MSF representatives. From the South Ossetia side the meeting was participated by Foreign Minister Murat Dzhioev and Minister of public health and social development Larisa Valieva.
Deputy Prime Minister informed of the state of public health in South Ossetia, highly appraised activity of organization in South Ossetia in 90-s and expressed a willing of further cooperation.
Delegation visited also a number of Republic medical points.
