On August 12, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, A. M. Dzhioev, took part in the presentation of the monograph “Alania–Ossetia and Dagestan” by Ludwig Chibirov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, which took place in the conference hall of the Anacharsis National Library.
According to the author, the work is an attempt to trace in detail the development of historical and cultural relations between Ossetia and Dagestan.
Ludwig Chibirov expressed the hope that the conclusions presented in the work would serve as a basis for further research and would be useful to young scholars studying the history and culture of the peoples of the Caucasus.
